Hello everyone
I've just bought a Windrush 1302l that needs some work
I've had Elddis, Lunars, Fleetwoods and Coachman caravans before but the Windrush feels well pit together in comparison
Got the caravan for peanuts. It needs work but everything is there and I've got a feeling it'll be a great van when I've done it up
I'm collecting the van on Wednesday. It's got a flat tyre and I'm unsure as to wether the road lights work but it's gonna be fun. There's a spare tyre under the caravan that looks like it might just get me the four or so miles home
I've never heard of the Windrush before and I've gotta say it's got a look of it's own. I like the styling and the wrap around handles
The floor is rock solid in the main living area. The corners are a little iffy but the steadies seem to be holding up alright
My last caravan had unbelievable rot in the same place. You could literally rock the body up and down. I've no idea how I made it to Blackpool and back in one piece!
I'm looking forward to talking to some of you and I can't wait to get cracking on my old wobbly box
