I am reluctantly selling my lovely 1970s Cotswold Windrush caravan with original glass windows.
Originally a 4 berth, it has a single bed at one end and a double bed at the other end. Both beds can be turned into tables and chairs. The kitchen is in the centre opposite the wash-room and wardrobe. It has a gas hob and an oven. There is also a built in,Vanessa gas heater.
There is a 12v lighting circuit and an electric hook up circuit.
Original upholstery but I have also made new loose covers so you can have either.
It is easy to tow and all the towing lights work.
Asking price £490
As expected with a caravan of this age there are jobs to do to get it up to the standard it deserves.
So as not to waste your time or mine, here is an honest list of all the faults I can think of:
Plastic window trims need replacing
Missing porch light cover
3 way fridge not working
Electric ,Whale water pump doesn’t work
Signs of damp in rear of the caravan – I think it may need sealant around the outside joins
One of the legs is stuck (I use a car jack there)
One of the slatted kitchen glass windows is cracked.
There are lots of the original documents with the caravan and also a vintage classic caravan awning.
