Hi all, not sure if this should go here but hey ho! I just viewed a wonderful looking 1981 Windrush 132 listed on ebay, ran over it with a fine tooth comb and the only area of damp I could find was in the right front top corner above the right side window, I say damp but it was bone dry, I can only imagine that water got in at one time, got resealed and dried out, its left the wallboard in this area feeling like it's crumbled and blown, the vinyl coating however is unmarked. My quandary is estimating how much damage got done behind the board, my suspicion is that the timbers in this area are probably damaged, possibly down to the window but there's no evidence of that on the surface. Considering going for it as a usable van for a season before tackling the damp, question is, is the structure compromised and would I be paying too much (current bid £750) for an otherwise nice van that will need quite a bit of work in the future? Any thoughts appreciated
