Joined this evening after buying a Windrush...
I'm not completely sure how old 'Connie' is and I can only just make out the serial number which I don't have to hand. The top and bottom are a light grey and my understanding is that makes her a mk1. front windows and front side windows are plastic double glazed and the rest are glass. Our concept or idea much the same as others is to convert the internals to have seating and bedding only, the external we want to keep as original.
I look forward to chatting with some of you as time goes on.

Hi and welcome,
I've seen this one before - it has a Blazers plaque yes, by the door?
The caravan is a Mk1 circa 1975 (or slightly earlier) and it does indeed have some plastic windows from a later van

Hi Margo
What coincidence that you've seen this before, where and when???, it does have a blazers badge by the door, I'll love to find out exactly when she was born.... I'm looking on the internet for spares and some new modifications, mainly for dryness and warmth but I want to get some new chrome wheel covers, the wheels are being newly powder coated by my brother, I've got to scrap the steel frame and re-paint it, mainly its in great condition, the body with the exception of two small areas are in fab condition.

I don't take much notice of where they come from although the date stamp on my photos are from October 2013. Judging by the amount I have I suspect it was that well known auction site.
Your van is either a 11/2 or 12/2 - I've never been able tell the difference. The plate to the lower left of the door should clarify what model it is. Unfortunately the build date will remain vague but that van has the earlier "Windrush" transfer on the sides but the slightly later gas locker. Add that to the glass windows (assuming they are original) it places the van around 1975.
I fitted 1960's Ford chrome hub caps to my wheels; they fit a treat. I've also got Ford Corsair globe wheel covers as well. I find car stuff better quality than the caravan stuff.
