Hi I am Abigail and I have been a very proud Windrush owner now for just over a year. My Windrush is a two berth and I believe she is either a late 1970's or early 80's model. I bough her from e bay and fetched her from Tuxford which is not far from where we live just outside Newark, Nottinghamshire. When I got her she was in great shape but un modified. I painted her inside and out and added my own individual look! We own a micro brewery called the Funfair Brewing Company and we get out to some festivals with our beer trailer and so I wanted our caravan to reflect our unique style....she sure does that!! We are in our mid thirties and we have an eight year old daughter. During the summer Betty Windrush gets used everyday, she lives in our pub car park and I sit in her to read, sew and nap when I get five mins!! I am always adding to her and she is a real aladdins cave! Jobs that need doing are getting the water working...I know it all works we just haven't tried it yet and mending the fridge which we haven't had any success with. I would love to get together with other Windrush enthusiasts and attend any rallies that are going on fairly locally. Any advice most welcome as to where to find these and how to join in! I may well be posting for advice on getting the water and the fridge going too!! Many thanks for reading, Abigail

Hi Abigail.
Your van certainly looks unique, very nice. I wouldn't mind seeing a few more photo's if you have any ?
I'm a fairly new member here too. I've Always liked the windrush vans but I hadn't come across the right van but now I have a Celeste which is in fair condition and came at the right money, Not so much of classic as yours but I like it.
Welcome to the Forum.
Matt.
