Well after 15 years of owning our 15/2s windrush and having giving it a good clean today it now seems a few resealing jobs have to be done. We can't complain we have toured all over the UK and EUROPE with no major problems -small ones yes but that is the par for caravaners. Every one is correct in that they are well made and on site a talking point with other fellow caravaners, they tow extremely well and the through view of the low front and rear windows makes for safer driving.Over the years we have had to replace the shower tray - made specifically in heavy duty fibreglass so it will not crack again - water heater ,oven door handle, curtains and skylight. Will update as we go along and happy touring.

Hi Keith. I'd be interested to know a bit about the replacement shower tray ? My Celeste has had the tray cut out and replaced by a board so effectively has no shower. I'm just trying to work out the best replacement tray for mine so I'm not sure if the Windrush one will be the same. The toilet has also been changed in my van for a newer one so that probably complicates things further. You can just see in the picture where the board has been inserted in to the shower tray. I've also got to look at awning rail re seal and roof lights. I haven't found damp or any problems because of dodgy seals it's just my paranoia with damp caravans having had a bailey that was riddled with it. Cheers, Matt.

Hi Matt, our windrush has the different shower / toilet arrangement with the fixed sink and cassette toilet and dressing area at the rear. The shower tray mould was taken from the old original one and then made up stronger. Unfortunately as far as i can remember the company didn't keep the mould long, as i have been asked before if it was still available. Any good fibreglass company should be able to make a mould to fit a desired area given the exact dimensions and colour that you require, make sure that you ask for a ridged inside otherwise it will be smooth and that it is possible to slip when wet. The skylight i replaced with a normal sized one as the original aerodynamic shape couldn't be found and at the same time replaced some of the frame around the opening as it was starting to show damp. While there was an opening in the roof more insulation was also added. Hope this helps you. Keith.

Certainly does help Keith yes, Thank you. Any information or advice given on here is invaluable and I really do appreciate it.
I'll have to have a think about the shower tray in mine as I have no original one to make a copy from which is a shame.
I'm hopefully going to have a look at the roof lights at the weekend, I hope not to find damp timbers but I'll find out soon. Was that an easy enough job to do without dismantling the whole van ?
Thanks again Keith,
Matt.

Hi again Matt, have you looked at Magnum Motorhomes website, they have a lot of useful goodies for caravanners. They have various sizes in shower trays and one in particular that is for use with a swivel toilet, have a look. The roof spars required cutting out to dry members and then attatching new wood around the frame more fiddly than anything else and you do have to cut into the roof panel.Try to make a straight cut so that when re-attatched a D MOULD can be fitted over the join . Enjoy your weekend. Keith.

Hi Keith. Thanks again. I'll have a look at that website and see what's on offer. I understand what you're saying regarding the D mould. The same trim that is inside the roof from the factory. Hopefully I wont need to go that far but knowing my luck I will Matt.

Why not fibreglass matt it and epoxy resin the tray area like I did then use flexible tile adhesive which is cement based and use mosiac marble tiles and grout using flexy adhesive, mines been done 6 years now and not moved at all a superb job.
