Help!, I am the proud new owner of a Cotswold Windrush 132 (1976) I know the date, because I have the original paperwork. But I didn't get the Handbook, and today I was cleaning her out and opened the windows to let the air in. When I went to close the windows, they wouldn't close!. I tried everything, I couldn't see any way of closing them, so had to resort to unscrewing the latch on each side for now.
If anyone has a Handbook for my little can, can you please let me know how to close the windows.
Thanks, CandypeelKate

Hi and welcome,
I'm not sure a user manual would help with the issue you describe other than basic operation. In my personal experience I had a very similar issue with the windows being difficult to close. This was due to the plastic trim surround on the wall being perished and it was fouling the window thus preventing it from closing fully. I suspect your trim is the original beige colour and this literally disintegrates with age. New trim is readily available but I've only ever seen it in white and it is very cheap and easy to replace - you need the 25mm wide stuff.
Unfortunately I don't have any owners manuals for the van but I do have sales brochures for 1980 and 1981 and I do have pretty much all the appliance literature and chassis information.
Good luck Mark...
