Hello Everyone,
new to the forum but have been a Windrush owner for ..ahem..17 yrs.
We are a little greedy 'cos we have a Windrush 13/2s which is a 1985 model I think,we bought it from a local dealer in the 90's and are its 2nd owners.We have reupholstered it and replaced the carpet but otherwise only done servicing/fettling. However we are just about to start a minor refurb. and hopefully replace a broken window which blew off in Scotland due to some numpty ( i.e. Me !) leaving it open during a bit of a blow !
We also have a Windrush Celeste 15/2 but not at all sure what year it is.
We bought this as a project about 5 yrs ago and have replaced carpets,cushions,curtains,repaired some damp areas and resealed the joints.The intention was to try a Windrush with a bit more space and if we liked it to sell the smaller 'van. Well we do like it but can't bear to part with the original 'van so we've got two !
We do use both, usually take the big 'un to Cornwall for the season
and use the little 'un for short breaks and going Up north ! Well, further north 'cos we live in Yorkshire.
