Hi. I recently bought my Celeste, having previously owned an Abi Monza. As you can imagine its like staying at a posh hotel compared to the old Monza! It had the original owner from new, who had looked after it really well. It had been parked up under a tree for a couple of years, so covered in green gunk. Since I bought it I've stripped out all the fuddy duddy furnishings such as the vevet curtains and had new ones made. I've also painted all the walls and ceilings and painted the kitchen cupboards in a contrasting 2 tone, lifting the drabness and breaking up that sea of wood you always seem to get in caravans, old and new. Speaking of which, I still can't understand why A. People will spend tens of thousands on a caravan. B. People will spend tens of thousands on a caravan that have such dull interiors. I know some people view such improvements to old caravans as a form of sacrilege. I think leaving an unloved old crate to rot far worse! I'll have all the little jobs finished very soon and then we are off to give her a test run before our 2 week trip around Devon and Cornwall with the kids. We can't wait. Anyway, nice to be a new member. Cheers to you all and have a fun summer.

Welcome to the forum and we look forward to your posts , and yes your right theres no comparison in quality of build between the monza and a Cotswold windrush/Celeste thats because its coach built and not thrown together like a lot of modern caravans of yesteryear and even today.
Nice to hear you have put your own ideas into practice and look forward to some piccies of it. Cheers Stu
