Cotswold Windrush 13/2

New to this forum
Purchased Windrush 13/2 few months ago it was in need of some TLC work done and away we go all Ok
Third time out wheel baring collapsed and lost wheel
In need of help as to where I can find new bearings and axle stub as both damaged and am running out of options
Can anyone help?

Living in hope as next trip has already been arranged

Hi Peter and welcome to the group.

You'll need to be more specific as to what age or era your van is. As far as I know there were three very different chassis used throughout production and no doubt some variations of each. If you could post some photos of the van and the area of concern, I'll try and be of some help. For what it is worth my knowledge is more extensive on the earlier models with the B&B Chassis.

They will match any bearing there is with the numbers on the existing bearing.

If you have trashed the stub axle on a B&B Chassis then you'll need to replace the whole swinging arm. There were three incarnations of arm - Mk1, Mk2 and Mk3; I suspect yours is either a Mk2 or a Mk3 and they are handed.

In light of the wheel coming off as a consequence, have you damaged the drum and brake shoes?

The link below is for an o/s Mk2 NOS. Not cheap but I guess they are not easy to find any more. Failing that or if your damaged one is the n/s one you might be lucky to find one in a breakers yard.

As another alternative you also could take the offending damaged item to an engineering shop where they will manufacture to original spec.
