Hello My Name is Richard

I live not far from Whitby North Yorks . Used to caravan years ago in the late 60s early 70s with the family in a Thomson caravan happy days . Sarted again six years ago fell in love with a 1988 windrush 152 .Went in stary eyed and came home with the runt of the litter . I spent most of my spare time in summer 2006 repairing the Rot, it turned out good in the end though . Last year I found a Celeste 152 in realy good condition same owner for the last 22 yrs who was a member of the old Cotswold Windrush club. Caravan kept under cover for most of that time so looks good for its years .

Welcome Richard. Your post made me laugh... we did the same thing.. actually viewed our Windrush caravan in the dark! We drove it home 50 miles on a tyre that we kept having to blow up. On closer inspection in the morning, the A-frame was held together with rust and fresh air!
Am amazed we made it home in one piece - there must be a Windrush angel up there somewhere!!
