Not really in to rallies in the traditional sense but if one is organised specifically for the classic scene then we would certainly be interested. As an avid Land Rover nut we are planning on going to the Land Rover show at Billing over the weekend of 28th & 29th July if that interests anyone. As for more members hopefully the presence of this forum and the FB group will encourage more. At least 5 classic Windrushes have been sold on that very popular auction site in the past month or so and I know of a very nice 1982 132 which may still be for sale as well, so let’s hope the new owners are enthusiasts and pick up the forum. Not to be accused of ignoring the later sloped front vans a few of those have changed hands recently as well

Im not really into rallies either as I dont have time .
We have local 4x4 spares days Nr Skipton yorkshire and also at Hableton House Garstang (Preston) but the best is at Skipton loads of old landy stuff comes up . I have an old range rover classic 3.9 that I have had gas converted and always get running spares from their.

Hi Andy, Unfortunately the official club is extinct. This forum although relatively new is developing nicely and we are trying to encourage as many interested parties as possible to become members and to contribute accordingly. Lots of Windrush's and Celeste's have changed hand this summer so hopefully the new owners will stumble across this forum. Alternatively there is also a Facebook group running as well. www.facebook.com/groups/45499573183/#!/groups/45499573183/

Last year I made inquiries as to starting it up once more if there was enough interest I would run the forum which i did later last year. Membership is steadily increasing which is a good thing and hopefully the forum will stand as a information centre for those who have a windrush van it caters for all the models and ranges that was manufactured. Hi if enough members, are interested in reforming an official windrush club with rallies etc, we,(my wife and i) would be intrested in getting involved. Cheers Andy If more members like yourself felt the same way then maybe it is possible. I suggest you post a poll on this topic to see how many would be interested in participating in rallies etc, and i for one would attend if it was central or northern England , rallies of coarse could be organised regionally, my feeling are however there arnt enough members yet on here who would wish to attend ralllies , But feel free give it a try I am up for anything that will encourage ownership and use of our favourite coachbuilt caravan, the more vans used and owned the better. Cheers Stuart
